Website Opt In Form
A compliant short-code opt in form and website needs specific carrier-approved language. The carriers are looking for the following items:
- Clear language regarding the short code opt in and opt out process.
- Message frequency.
- Double-opt-in functionality for any phone numbers entered into a web form. Your Prompt.io account team can configure this for your organization.
- Specific terms and conditions as it relates to SMS texting.
- A phone number that contacts can call to opt out of texting. The phone number needs to be staffed and/or monitored for opt-out requests and a clear process must be implemented for opting out those that wish to opt out.
